What is Cyberpunk 2077?

Hey gamers! Are you ready for the newest addition to the cyberpunk world? Introducing Cyberpunk 2077, a neon-filled, sci-fi game developed by CD Projekt Red, the team behind The Witcher 3. This game is based on the classic tabletop role-playing game of the same name, created by Mike Pondsmith. In Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll get to experience all the action in first-person as you navigate through the towering skyscrapers and bionic enhancements of the futuristic city known as Night City.

Engaging trailers, teasers, and more.

We got our first glimpse of the game at E3 2018, and since then, we’ve seen even more exciting trailers and teasers. E3 2019 even gave us a taste of the game’s plot, which includes a starring role from Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, a character who implants himself into the main character V’s brain via a biochip. To unlock the key to this biochip and advance the game’s main storyline, players will have to track down Alt Cunningham, the greatest netrunner in history – the only catch is that she’s deceased. But fear not, as her consciousness lives on in the digital realm and players will have to take on various challenges, including facing off against the leaders of Night City’s top corporations, in order to progress.

Release set for November 19, 2020

In addition to the immersive storyline, players will also have the opportunity to customize their character and choose from one of two voice actors. And when it comes to gameplay, there will be plenty of options for players, including hacking, sneaking, and of course, combat. But don’t worry, for those who prefer a more non-violent approach, the game will also offer non-lethal options for most weapons.

Cyberpunk 2077 review

An open-world science fiction RPG from the creators of The Witcher 3. It will be considerably bigger than that game, with explorable driving structures in an anecdotal California expansion called Night City.

Would you be able to make a character? It’s like the Mass Impact deal in that regard. You’ll be playing as a particular character named V. However; you can redo what they look like and explore one of the two voice artists, Cherami Leigh or John Flanagan. You will also have details and exchange options that influence the results.

How is the battle? There seem to be plenty of engagement options, for example, talking, hacking, sneaking around, but Cyberpunk 2077 is, to some extent, an individual shooter in any case. It seems to be like vivid sims like Deus Ex.

Would you be able to make a non-fatal career? Truly. This was not valid in all cases; however, after criticism in 2018, Cd Projekt RED gave “essentially every firearm”, a non-fatal scenario, the main creator of the trip Paweł Sasko let us know.

Who is the character of Keanu Reeves? Reeves plays Johnny Silverhand, a notable character from the first Cyberpunk board game of 1988. He will be on V’s mind as an “advanced appearance,” so you should see groups of him throughout the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 release date

So mark your calendars for November 19, 2020, when Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. And for those on Google Stadia, the game will also be available for download later in the year. Are you ready to dive into the neon-lit world of Cyberpunk 2077?

We love a tease – didn’t fail.

CD Projekt Red has said that the next trailer will be here in just a few weeks. And that’s not all – we’ve also got an early look at the Cyberpunk 2077 guide, information on classes, the cast and characters, and more. And if that wasn’t enough, the ESRB has released some details on the explicit content you can expect in the game – let’s just say that CD Projekt Red isn’t holding back. And for all you Xbox One players out there, don’t worry – you’ll get the Xbox Series X version for free “when it’s available.”

Robotics plays a key part of the CyberPunk 2077 game, as you would imagine!
The detail of the world is on-point from what we have seen so far.

So, are you convinced to pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 yet? Because if not, we have no idea what will. The game is set to release on November 19, and trust us, it’s worth the wait. And if you’re wondering about multiplayer, don’t worry – it’s coming eventually. CD Projekt Red has said that they plan to add “some multiplayer elements” to the game after it releases, with free DLC and single-player content coming first. And the best part? The developer has said that the Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will be a “massive expansion” to the game. So while we probably won’t see it until 2022 at the earliest, it’s definitely something to look forward to.

In the meantime, the gameplay looks super smooth. We’ve seen a mix of gameplay footage, from first-person shooting to hacking and sneaking around. And while the game definitely has some intense combat, it’s not just a first-person shooter – there are plenty of options for players, including non-violent or unarmed choices. Plus, there are scripted scenes and driving sequences in third-person. And from what we’ve seen so far, the world is looking incredibly detailed.

On this alone, we’re sold.

As for DLC, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 will follow a similar model to The Witcher 3, with a bunch of free updates coming in the months after release, and possibly some paid expansions that add to the world and continue V’s story. But as always, everything is subject to change.

So that’s the latest on Cyberpunk 2077 – are you as excited as we are?

Cyberpunk 2077’s PC specs are somewhat approachable.

The Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo looked great in tight hallways and progressively open areas. You can insist on that kind of energetically organized demo running on what could be compared to a NASA supercomputer. However, it turns out that the PC specs weren’t that horrible, in any case, to the developers of really demanding quality games.

CPU: Intel Center i7 8700K at 3.70GHz

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming

Slam: 32 GB of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 Smash with a speed of 3,000 MHz

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti

Capacity: Samsung 960 Genius 512GB SSD

Power supply: Corsair SF600W

Disclaimer – These specs were used during E3 in a demo designed to run well to showcase, these recommended/minimum/known working specifications. There is no certainty at this stage that this will be the final recommended specs. – (July 2020)

Do we know about Cyberpunk 2077 character creation?

In the character creation screen for Cyberpunk 2077, you can customize your character’s appearance by changing their hair, tattoos, and clothing. You also have the option to choose from a variety of skin, hair, eye, ear, scar, and tattoo options, as well as different types of genitalia and body hair.

At E3 2019, the game’s developer stated that character customization would not be limited by sexual orientation. In addition to visual customization, you can also modify your character’s attributes, such as their intelligence and physical strength. You can also choose your character’s backstory, called a Lifepath, which determines your starting location and gives you unique dialogue options throughout the game. Despite all the customization options, your character is still referred to as V and is a hired gun.

How does dialogue work?

It looks like the conversation system in the game is pretty dynamic. You can still move around and explore while talking to people, but when you focus on the character you’re talking to, you’ll see a bunch of dialogue options pop up on the screen. We saw about three or four options in the demo we played.

It’s not like in other RPGs where you just choose a line of dialogue and the conversation is over. It feels more like a real conversation, with the main character’s perspective changing based on how you respond. For example, in one scene, our character V and his buddy Jackie were trying to buy some new gear from a sketchy group, but things almost turned violent. The dialogue options gave us the chance to try to defuse the situation: we could either try to calm them down or threaten them with violence. We ended up choosing to show them that we had the cash and didn’t want any trouble, which helped to de-escalate the situation.

In another scene, V was captured by a group of corporate thugs who were looking for some information. They thought V might be the person they were after and started interrogating him. If we lied, they would know and there would be consequences. It was a tense scene, but the dynamic conversation system made it feel more realistic.

Other exciting features in Cyberpunk 2077

The rejection splitter runs might be frustrating, but there are plenty of other cool features in the game to keep you entertained. For example, there’s a thing called the ‘Braindance’ that lets you dive into someone else’s memories and experiences, and feel their emotions as you search for information. It’s a really cool feature that CDPR has included, and it leaves room for them to potentially release DLC based on this aspect of the game.

Another feature that a lot of people are excited about is genital customization. Yeah, you read that right – you can actually control the size of your character’s privates separately from other customization options. No other game has offered something like this before, so kudos to CDPR for being innovative.
