Good day to you, gaming community. Are you well? How have you been during lockdown? Been racking up those minutes on your favourite game? Completed your entire collection yet? I’ve been sat here in The Man Cave, hashing out my ideas, pushing forward with imperfect action.
We’ve been busy behind the scenes thinking of ways to provide more value for the community and we’ve now released our Discord server to the masses! We really hope you’ll pop along and join in with the ever-growing community and find someone who can help you push your expertise in game, content creation, or even some marketing – oh and of course some tips on hardware for your budget and use case.
For most of you, the Discord will be a familiar environment. For the uninitiated, however, Discord provides a means for communities of gamer’s to get together to chat in real-time. It’s like the new world of IRC, completely changes the game and is a fantastic tool to build and get to know a community. You can use it in a web browser, and there are desktop and mobile apps available to allow users to access whichever their preferred method.
Discord is also a popular option for voice chat, we have some open channels for people to use freely, gaming is always better with friends, am i right? It’s all completely free to use. (There is a paid option if you want to take advantage of some additional features).
We like Discord, and always welcome for chats, updates on how people are doing or any hints and tips they would like to share with the community. You can find apoth0r – The Man Cave using this link.
We always try and stay as active as we can but feel free to jump on and speak to the rest of the community, ideas are born out of kindness, sharing, constructive criticism and a bit of luck 🙂
Getting involved is nice and simple – simply follow our sign-up link (Discord Link) to get started.
So that’s Discord! We hope you like it. Hope to see you there soon!
